Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Edison, NJ
Type: Contract/Per Diem (15 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week
Pay: $48/hr - $53/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an exciting Contract/Per Diem job in Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy services under physician direction, including treatment, diagnostic evaluation, and disease management for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.

• Assist with intubation procedures and provide ventilator setup, monitoring, and ongoing respiratory support.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collect clinical data to evaluate respiratory needs.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans.

• Provide patient and caregiver education regarding respiratory conditions, treatments, and disease management.

• Accurately document patient care, interventions, and responses in accordance with hospital standards.

• Adhere to organizational policies, safety standards, and clinical competency requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

• Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License.

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – AHA.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
