We are a regional full service CPA firm with multiple offices around Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin (~200 employees) headquartered in Springfield, IL. We’re approaching 100 years in business. We are hiring at all levels of audit and candidates are expected to work on site 3+ days per week. What You Will Be Doing Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills. Review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting audits. Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation for client presentations. What You Need for this Position At least 6 years working in A&A within a public accounting environment. Ideally, have already worked as a manager for 1 year; seniors and supervisors are encouraged to apply. CPA is required. Ability for some travel for client engagements. B.S. in Accounting or related field; M.S. preferred. Financial statement audit experience required; EBP is a plus.
