You will serve as a technical resource throughout the project lifecycle, helping ensure electrical systems are code-compliant, constructible, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements. Responsibilities: Develop electrical layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, isometrics, and system designs Coordinate design solutions while balancing code requirements, constructability, client expectations, and project budgets Serve as a technical lead across multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction Provide technical direction and support to project and design team members Coordinate with clients, contractors, project teams, engineers, and inspecting authorities Perform electrical calculations including building service loads, voltage drop, short circuit, and lighting photometrics Review designs for compliance with applicable codes and project specifications Assist with resolving electrical design and constructability issues throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications: 4-10+ years of relevant electrical design, engineering, or construction experience Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local electrical codes Working knowledge of IBC, IECC, and construction safety requirements Strong understanding of electrical equipment, installation methods, and electrical design fundamentals Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities simultaneously Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred Experience working on large-scale commercial, multifamily, residential, or similar construction projects preferred Interested in hearing more?
