Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech

Polysomnography Tech IIIA Sleep Technician III performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of a Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) and/or Sleep Board (ABSM) Certified Medical Director/and or designee. Key responsibilities include performing all studies proficiently, in a timely manner and according to policy, explaining the necessary steps for each procedure and test to patient and family members clearly and in a respectful and professional manner, ensuring that the patient and their family understands explanations, discussing results of studies with physicians only, performing clerical functions in an accurate and timely manner, accurately preparing data for physician interpretation (scoring), helping train Sleep Lab Tech I trainees when required, maintaining all equipment properly, communicating with physician and customers in a knowledgeable, professional and courteous manner; performing all other related tasks as assigned.
