About the Role We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to military personnel, veterans, and their families. The position includes performing history and physical assessments, behavioral health care, minor procedures, patient education, and referring patients for care beyond local facility capabilities. Key Responsibilities Perform history & physical assessments and behavioral health care. Carry out minor procedures and provide patient education. Conduct intake health interviews and medical assessments. Onsite diagnosis and treatment of basic medical conditions. Refer patients to local health systems for complex, urgent, or emergent conditions. Provide enhanced medical monitoring and public health/infectious disease support. Prepare medical summaries prior to travel, transfer, or release. Qualifications Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Current Texas Nurse Practitioner medical licensure. Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience. Current Basic Life Support certification. Bilingual in English and Spanish is encouraged.
