Store Manager Full Time Auburn Hills, MI, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1006 Salary Range: $18.00 To $18.00 Hourly JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CONVENIENCE STORE MANAGER Reports To: Territory Manager of Store Operations Job Summary: The Store manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant manager. The Store manager is responsible for the store margins, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages. List of Responsibilities (not limited to): Capable of conducting all the duties of a Cashier, Food Service Rep, Stock Clerk and Shift Lead. Assist in the recruiting of, hiring, and training, positive individuals to become members of the Chillbox Team and committing to the Chillbox Customer Service Agreement. Motivate, encourage, and challenge entire team. Supervise, and discipline all store employees (and assistant manager) according to company policy. Prepare schedules to ensure our productivity goals are met and arrange replacement for absent employees or cover shifts. Conduct Start of Day walks to evaluate the property, equipment, & merchandise appearance and identify issues for immediate attention. Design, implement and enforce established daily operating procedures and tasks lists to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept. Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner. Implement Monthly promotions, ensure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time. Complete Bank deposits in a timely manner on every “business” day. Post shelf tags and price signage changes. Control inventory in the store and complete necessary counts; date stamp Tobacco deliveries. Be ready to root cause inventory control issue. Maintain quality brand image standards and pass Scorecard evaluations. Conduct Store meetings as needed with employees. ( A minimum of one monthly). Schedule 90 day performance review for new hires, and annual reviews for all others Document Code of Conduct violations and/or exceptional performance recognition Monitor daily retail gasoline competitors and making changes in a timely manner as established by management Complete daily paperwork and computer entry the same business day. Understand all information in the daily reporting of store operations and root cause errors. Monitor and be prepared to resolve and explain cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, refunds, void tickets, error corrections, price overrides, and drive offs daily. Report findings to Territory Manager in a timely manner Follow and enforce all Employee Handbook Policies Communicate and perform all price change request, mark downs / mark ups as requested by the Retail Operations Team Utilize the Retail Team Tools to address any problems with merchandise pricing or margins Implement and enforce all merchandising and merchandise receiving policies. Enforce all Safety and Security Issues and report any and all unsafe conditions Class B Certification: day-to-day responsibility for implementing the UST regulations. Conduct regular customer service, UST safety and Store Security Meeting and document with employees attending signatures. Promote and resolve customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner. Report and process all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft suite of programs Completes all training courses as directed Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift any day of the week Must be able to work assigned shift without other team members present #J-18808-Ljbffr
