Our manufacturing philosophy is to build everything on site, so that we may control quality and offer the shortest lead-time in the industry.This position is primarily responsible for creating shop drawings (in AutoCAD/Microvellum) to submit to the customer (General Contractor & Architect). This position is also responsible for using these drawings to program products that will be manufactured by Ameriscan Designs shop employees.Responsibilities* Read and understand architectural drawings* Create architectural submittal drawings* Draw from scratch, quality, accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models* Demonstrate an understanding of cabinetry construction & terminology* Work daily in a team-based environment* Follow all company safety protocol* Follow complex directions and incorporate redline revisions into shop drawing submittals* Communicate clearly, concisely and specifically any and all details of the workQualifications* Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years of related experience* Analytical and problem-solving skills* Ability to present information and respond to questions from project managers* Experience with Microvellum, AutoCAD drafting, architectural millwork drafting* Experience with Microsoft Office* Knowledge of woodworking standards and materials* Familiar with AWI standards* CNC programming and CNC machine capabilitiesJob BenefitsThis role may be eligible for the following benefits:* Medical, Dental, Vision* Supplemental Insurance* Savings Accounts* Retirement Accounts* Paid Time OffJob LocationBellwood, IL #J-18808-Ljbffr Scicustom
