RN- Float Pool (0.75 FTE, Nights)

Wa ge Range: $ 48.21 - $ 87.11 per hour. Bonus available for those new to EvergreenHealth: up to $3,000 with 3+ years of current Emergency Department & one other specialty nursing experience; up to $5,000 with 5+ years of current Emergency Department & one other specialty nursing experience. EvergreenHealth is seeking an experien ced RN to join the Nursing Resources Float Pool Team. At least 2 years or more of Progressive Care or Intensive Care Nursing experience are required. Job Summary: Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines. Primary Duties:

1. Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
2. Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
3. Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.
4. Continuously implements, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
5. Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
6. Effectively communicates all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in a timely way.
7. Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience: REQUIRED for the position: Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required) Minimum of two years of current Progressive Care or Intensive Care experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by start date. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS certification by start date.
