AP/AR Associate

Job Description Job Description JMT Staffing Solutions is hiring an AR/AP Accounting Associate for our client, an established company with an in-office accounting team. This is a full-time, temporary to hire, hourly role supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping work. Location: Wilmington, MA (on-site) Job Type: Full-time, Temp to hire Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour What You'll Do Process daily wire transfers and credit card sales Maintain customer consolidated statements Research and resolve transaction issues and discrepancies Respond promptly to questions from vendors, customers, and employees Assist with year-end audits Handle general accounting office tasks, including filing, answering phones, and preparing financial documents Take on other duties as assigned What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred) 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, or a similar accounting role Working knowledge of basic accounting principles Comfort with accounting and database software and the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word Strong attention to detail, with the ability to stay accurate and meet deadlines A problem-solver who can handle unexpected issues Clear written and verbal communication skills, and a professional, team-oriented attitude Ability to work on-site at the assigned office on scheduled in-office days Nice to Have Experience with Billtrust and Oracle AP Important Requirement This position requires U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident (green card holder), political asylee, or refugee. Physical Requirements Standard office work: sitting, using a computer, typing, and reading for extended periods. Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
