About the Position

Job Title

Vascular Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Location

Saint Cloud, MN | Outpatient Clinic / Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Evenings | Alternating shifts with variable weekly schedule; combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts | Approximately one weekend every 4–6 weeks (12-hour shifts) | No call | Expected 36–40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and diagnostic ultrasound studies across both an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital setting
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with departmental protocols
• Participate in a weekend rotation, covering approximately one weekend every 4–6 weeks using 12-hour shifts
• Document and chart patient information and imaging results accurately using Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and clinical staff to support patient care and diagnostic workflows

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• ARDMS credential (RDMS) required — credentialed in at least one of the following specialties: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric, or MSK
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program (certificate, Associate of Applied Science, or Bachelor's Degree)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARDMS credentials in multiple ultrasound specialties preferred
• Experience working across both outpatient and acute care hospital environments
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
