Risk & Asset Management Consultant

Job Title

Act as a First Line of Defense (FLOD) resource, identifying and mitigating risks. Apply basic knowledge of risk frameworks and controls, including Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs). Assess non-financial risks specific to Asset Management and develop strategies to manage them. Understand Asset Management products across public and private markets. Work with institutional clients such as pensions, endowments, and family offices. Navigate front, middle, and back-office operations within Asset Management firms. Support Advisory and Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) functions. Perform process mapping and workflow analysis to enhance operational efficiency. Develop and document procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Utilize Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and presentations. Strong knowledge of risk management, particularly within Asset Management. Experience in a First Line of Defense role with an understanding of controls. Familiarity with institutional Asset Management clients and operations. Proven ability to document processes, create procedures, and present insights effectively. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
