Job Purpose:The Maintenance position at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the store's facilities are kept in pristine condition, contributing to an overall positive shopping experience.Key Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, and public areas to uphold hygiene standards.Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.Dust shelves and displays to maintain a tidy and organized appearance.Maintain the cleanliness of entrances and windows, ensuring they are free of smudges and debris.Restock supplies such as paper products and soap in restrooms and other public areas.Follow established safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to management.Operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.Adhere to safety and sanitation standards to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and complete them within designated timeframes.Work independently or as part of a team to achieve cleanliness and maintenance goals.Demonstrate reliability and consistency in performing cleaning duties to meet the company's standards.Also fills water softener salt upstairs, checks fire extinguishers throughout the facility.Benefits:Full Time - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off, and Holiday Pay.Full Time and Part Time - Employee Discount and Time & Half Holiday Pay.Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal education required.
