Chief Marketing Officer (Los Angeles)

Our client, a Los Angeles-founded contemporary fashion brand known for its body-enhancing pieces and elevated aesthetic, is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join their growing team.

The CMO will be a strategic executive partner to the CEO, responsible for shaping global brand positioning, driving acquisition and retention, and building out a high-performing marketing organization as the company scales its e-commerce and wholesale footprint. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of marketing strategy at a growing, founder‑led brand with real cultural momentum.

What you will be doing

• Developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with seasonal launches, product drops, and go-to-market timelines
• Owning the master marketing budget and tracking key performance indicators such as ROAS, CAC, LTV, and conversion across all channels
• Building and managing strategic partnerships with creative agencies, digital marketing firms, PR partners, and global influencer networks
• Establishing and enforcing cohesive brand aesthetics and quality standards across every consumer touchpoint, from digital advertising to packaging
• Leading, mentoring, and growing a marketing team spanning performance acquisition, social media, PR, and graphic design

What they are looking for

• 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on contemporary fashion, e-commerce, or lifestyle apparel brands
• 10+ years of executive-level experience leading cross-functional marketing and creative teams
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Deep proficiency with enterprise ERP systems, web analytics platforms, CRM tools, and digital advertising management suites
• Strong vendor negotiation, data analysis, and cross-cultural relationship management skills, with the ability to balance brand storytelling with performance rigor.
