Position Overview

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining the process with empathy
• Work in coordination with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-caliber diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate all imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within an electronic medical record system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• Preferred: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
