In this role you will provide systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System (MDS) capabilities to identify lethal objects.Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry teamProvide technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA's Counter- Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate (MDA/SEM)Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.Required:Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field12+ years of experienceActive Secret clearance and the ability to qualify for a TS/SCI clearanceExpertise in radar signal processing, scheduling, and object classificationExpertise in electronic protectionSystems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedulesPrior experience in Technical performance assessments, Risk analysis and mitigation developmentExpertise in Electronic attack/protection modeling development to support analysis and requirements developmentExperience in developing technology maturation plans to transfer potential technologies to program officesDesired:Active Top Secret/SCI clearanceKnowledge of MDA systems engineering processesKnowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals to include radar limitationsKnowledge of electro-optic fundamentalsKnowledge of radar hardware and designITAR Requirement:This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
