Truss Assembler

Our client, an industry leader in building products manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Truss Assembler to join their team. As a Truss Assembler, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Truss Assembler Location: Washington, IA Pay Range: 1st Shift - $14, 3rd Shift - $16 Shift: 1st - 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; 3rd - 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday - Thursday What's the Job? Safely produce various building products by assembling trusses and other components Sort and organize cut materials for efficient workflow Build trusses using hand tools, both powered and manual Stack finished products for shipment or storage Use hand tools such as hammers and read engineered drawings accurately What's Needed? No prior experience required; training provided Ability to lift, squat, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks Experience in framing carpentry or manufacturing is a plus Ability to read a tape measure and interpret engineered drawings Positive attitude, good attendance, and motivation to learn What's in it for me?
