Location: Laurel, MD (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (First Shift)
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Opportunity: Are you looking for a stable career opportunity with a successful, growing company? We are partnering with a premier distributor for government customers in Laurel, MD, to find a reliable Warehouse & Production Associate. If you love early hours, excellent leadership, and competitive pay, this is the role for you! You will be helping to handle and refurbish access flooring panels in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Prior warehouse experience is required, but we provide all the training you need to learn marketable skills and advance your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Safely receive, sort, and efficiently stack access flooring panels.
- Production & Refurbishing: Operate various hand tools and machinery to clean, strip, and refurbish panels to high-quality standards.
- Operational Support: Maintain flexibility by rotating through different workstations and assisting with diverse production tasks as needed.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform general warehouse duties to ensure a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Haves:
- At least 6 months of recent experience in an assembly, production, or warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Must wear closed-toe shoes on the warehouse floor at all times.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience in a refurbishing, manufacturing, or machine-operating role is a plus!
