Brake Press Operator
Pay: Based on Experience

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to blueprints and production specifications. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake press machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools.
- Select the appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
- Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues promptly.
- Previous brake press operating experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Basic math and mechanical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background check (if required).
- Steel-toe boots and appropriate PPE required.
