Planning Manager

Planning ManagerHyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Planning Manager with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment.Responsibilities:Responsible for daily and longer-term build plans for large volume production facilityAbility to work across multiple departments: Warehouse/Logistics, Program Management, Sales, Manufacturing Operations, Executive teamWork with production, procurement, supply chain, engineering, and sales teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.Track key metrics, such as on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, inventory accuracy, and analyze data to identify and solve problems, and prepare reports for management and customers.Work with operations team to develop tools for reporting KPIs and metrics.Manage Planning (local and remote) and Procurement (local) team.Manage local capacity model and validate work order integrity before release for production.Work with planning teams to develop tools to analyze capacity and demand automatically.Work with supply chain teams to perform clear-to-build (CTB) analysis, and exception reports.Oversee planner and procurement activities and ensure that materials, resources, and production capacity are aligned with the schedule.Identify and recommend changes to improve production output, efficiency, and capacity.Tracks and reports daily and weekly build plan to program managersBe the main point of contact for the front end of production, with the ability to report on order status and demand outlookProvide timely response to program management regarding customer prioritization requestsTrack and drive resolution for causes of delays for orders in productionQualifications:Bachelor's degree or 2 years technical school preferredAt least 5 years of experience in production environmentAble to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Advanced knowledge of planning software, tools, and ERP systems is preferred.Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.Exceptional communication skills, with ability to train and coach across all skill levels.Strong communicator.
