Registered Nurse — Med Surg Tele (Travel)
Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii, United States
Start date: 08/17/2026 | Contract length: 13 weeks | Shift: 3x12 Nights
Weekly pay: $2,267–$2,387 (per week) | Guaranteed hours: none
Work setting: inpatient care environment
This travel assignment requires float coverage between two medical-surgical/tele units and MS overflow coverage in ICU and ED, with EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including assessments, medications, IV therapy, and routine procedures.
- Float between two MS/Tele units and support MS overflow needs in ICU and ED as patient demand dictates.
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, implement care plans, and escalate concerns promptly to the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff; participate in care planning, handoffs, and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Document thoroughly in EPIC EMR, including assessments, interventions, and patient education; maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate charting.
- Prioritize patient safety, perform timely responses to emergencies, and adhere to unit protocols and infection control practices.

Requirements
- EPIC EMR experience
- Inpatient medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience
- Ability to float between MS/Tele units and MS overflow coverage in ICU/ED
- Availability for a 3x12 night schedule with a biweekly total of 72 hours
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
