Registered Nurse (RN) – Flex Pool, Days

Location: – Hilo, Hawaii
Start Date: October and Mid November
⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Flex Pool Registered Nurse to float across medical and surgical units, with occasional assignments to the Cardiovascular Unit. Candidates must be flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care across medical, surgical, and step-down units.
Assess patients, administer treatments, and monitor patint conditions.
Operate equipment such as Pyxis systems, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective patient care.
Complete unit-specific orientation and follow established clinical protocols.

Required Qualifications
3–10 years of Flex Pool nursing experience.
Active Hawaii RN license by the assignment start date. Candidates without one must apply upon offer acceptance.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Flexibility to float between units and work variable assignments.
Documented proof of immunity required; medical and religious exemptions are not accepted in lieu of proof.
