The facility is committed to delivering the highest standard of patient-centered care and offers healthcare professionals a rewarding opportunity to serve those who serve our country.Facility Address: 1650 Cochrane Cir, Fort Carson, CO 80913ResponsibilitiesCarry out corrective exercise and treatment programs as directed by the supervising physical therapistAdminister treatments including exercise, gait training, massage, whirlpool, hot packs, diathermy, ultrasound, paraffin, ice packs, and tractionInstruct, motivate, and assist patients in functional activities such as pre-ambulation, transfers, ambulation, and daily-living activitiesFit, adjust, and train patients in the use of orthopedic braces, prostheses, crutches, canes, walkers, and wheelchairsObserve patients during treatment; compile and evaluate data on responses to treatment and progressMeasure range-of-joint motion, body part length/girth, and vital signs to track treatment effectsCoordinate with physical therapy staff and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for care planningPerform administrative duties including inventory, supply ordering, patient scheduling, and encounter codingMaintain department equipment, records, and files in accordance with facility policiesQualificationsEducation: Associate degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).Experience: Minimum 12 months of experience within the last 36 months as a physical therapy assistant.Certifications: BLS required.Licensure: N/A (non-credentialed position).U.S. Citizenship requiredScheduleMonday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between 0630–1600. 30–60 minute uncompensated lunch.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.KurzSolutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
