Customer Experience Specialist (No Telemarketing)

Job Description Job Description TOG Gov is a federal government distributor serving Americas military, public sector and critical operations nationwide. With one of the largest contracts in the nation covering over 3 million products in nearly every market vertical we support over 70,000 active customers. By utilizing thousands of manufacturers and wholesalers around the nation and over 2500 warehouse locations we provide large scale service with small business speed and charm.
We are looking to add several customer experience specialists to our team of experts. We are constantly looking to groom and grow our team from the ground up so they understand the full picture of government contracting. All positions have the opportunity for growth within.
This is an in-person position
Responsibilities –
In support of our high level of success and growth, it is important to us that we preserve the personalized customer service that we believe our clientele deserve. Unlike large companies that often forego the personal touch, we value this one-on-one contact with our customers. Therefore we are seeking someone who is a clear and concise communicator and who genuinely likes people.
Daily tasks will include:
Works with customers on the phone, via email, and through our online chat application to offer quick and accurate assistance with placing orders, providing order status and tracking, and completing quotes.
Completes daily data entry tasks, in which quick and accurate typing skills are a must.
Assists with other customer-related tasks, as needed.
Requirements –
High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Minimum of one year customer service experience preferred.

Note: This position requires no telemarketing or out-bound calling. This position is responsible for fielding incoming calls only.
