Salary Mid-Point: $125,000 Location: Canonsburg PA Job Type: Permanent IFG Pittsburgh is recruiting a Controller that leads accounting and financial operations, including reporting, close processes, and internal controls, while ensuring GAAP compliance. The Controller will partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, and oversees cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships. The Controller also manages accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, collaborates with external auditors, and drives process improvements, cost management, and overall financial performance. Responsibilities of the Controller Lead all core accounting functions, including general ledger management, month-end close, financial statement preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations Produce and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and internal policies Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, accounting procedures, and process improvements Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning through budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial modeling Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to drive operational performance and business decision-making Oversee cash flow, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and treasury operations, including financing activities Manage AP, AR, payroll, and invoicing functions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance Coordinate with external auditors and advisors while supporting cost management, project profitability analysis, and overall financial accountability Requirements of the Controller Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA or CPA-track) preferred Five (5) plus years of progressive accounting management experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
