Responsibilities: Supervise and engage students in a safe, structured, and supportive after-school setting Plan and facilitate age-appropriate academic, recreational, and enrichment activities Assist students with homework, reading, and other academic assignments Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff Maintain classroom management and enforce behavioral expectations Monitor student progress and communicate updates to program coordinators Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students at all times Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in ECE must Previous experience working with school-age children in an educational or childcare setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to plan and lead engaging, creative activities for diverse learners Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for youth development Must pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements CPR/First Aid certification is a plus About Us: Academy of Excellence Learning Center is a trusted educational institution in Lancaster, CA, committed to empowering students to reach their full potential inside and outside the classroom.
