Registered Nurse - Emergency

Emergency Department NurseProvides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.Full Time position working 36 hours per week, 3 12 hour shifts. Rotating days/evening/nights, steady nightshifts available if preferred. Requires rotating weekend and holiday coverage as per time and attendance policy.Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.One year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience or two years of telemetry nursing experience. Will consider three years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.Basic Cardiac Life Support.Advanced Cardiac Life Support must obtain within 6-month introductory period.Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within one year of start date.Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing.Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Emergency Department experience.Certification in ED specialty area.* In the absence of qualified candidates in the above referenced areas, will consider applicants with Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Applicable training and orientation will be provided.
