Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs, determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and develops individualized care plans. Additional duties include performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and documenting care based on standards of practice. The RN advocates for evidence-based practices and provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing models. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
