WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Hartford, CT.

Job Function:

• Shift: Days, EOW - 7am to 7:30pm- 36hrs per week
• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings to identify rhythm changes and report abnormalities to the care team
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and other physician-ordered treatments in accordance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update patient care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, including rapid response situations and cardiac events
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and post-hospital care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system

• Active RN License
• 2+ years of experience
• BLS and ACLS
