Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour (18:00 - 06:30). Weekend shifts required to meet staffing needs. 40-hour orientation provided. Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a culturally diverse community setting
• Care for high-risk obstetrical patients with full-spectrum labor and delivery experience
• Unit features 11 rooms and 15 beds with average daily census of 15-20 patients and approximately 20 visits per day
• RNs circulate on cesarean sections and provide comprehensive perinatal care
• Interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• First-time travelers accepted for this position

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP
• Patient ratio experience of 1:3
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs (travelers may float first)
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the facility
