Cath Lab RN

Location: York, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Full-time, 4 - 10 hour days from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm plus call.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab RN to join our team. The RN will focus primarily on Cath Lab responsibilities but must also be adaptable to flex into the Interventional Radiology (IR) role as needed. This position requires a strong background in TEE and cardioversion procedures, along with experience in circulating and pre and post care in an IR setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patients during and after procedures.
• Assist in Interventional Radiology procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure and recovery.
• Participate in call rotation and respond to emergencies as they arise.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
• Must reside within 20 minutes of the facility for on-call duties.
• Proof of influenza vaccination required by the State of Maine.
