*Nurse Practitioner - MC

Position Overview Location: Hoschton, GA – Pay Rate: $74.87 per hour. We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for a patient‑facing primary care role in Hoschton, GA. The MinuteClinic nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive care—including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counselling, chronic condition management, and disposition planning—in collaboration with a dedicated clinical care team. Schedule 30–40 hours per week Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM Weekend and holiday rotations may apply (three out of every six weekends unless otherwise noted) Key Responsibilities Provide primary and family healthcare services, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health conditions. Evaluate and treat patients through routine examinations, acute care visits, chronic condition management, and preventive health services. Deliver patient education regarding healthy lifestyle choices, wellness, screenings, and disease prevention. Perform diagnostic testing and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and wellness goals. Complete administrative responsibilities: clinic opening and closing procedures, inventory management, patient follow‑up, insurance verification and payment collection, maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, and document patient encounters accurately within the electronic health record (EHR). Collaborate with the clinical care team to support quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. Required Qualifications Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program. Current National Board Certification. Active NP license in the state of Georgia. Minimum of 1 year of recent primary‑care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Primary Care Practice, or Urgent Care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA). Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measures. Ability to practice autonomously while collaborating effectively with healthcare teams. Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technology. Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing chronic care patients. Experience working in a fast‑paced outpatient, urgent care, or retail health environment. Familiarity with electronic medical systems (EMS/EHR platforms). Additional Requirements DEA registration may be required during onboarding. High‑speed internet and technology proficiency may be required for clinical systems.
