Join our team as a Senior Program Quality Engineer (SPQE) supporting the Advanced Technologies (AT) Strategic Business Unit. Program Quality drives customer, program, and business success by effectively synthesizing the support and results of all Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) disciplines to ensure our customers receive quality products and services on time and on budget. Our SPQE will partner with the Program Quality Lead and interfaces with program and functional partners, across the full product life cycle, including technical development, production/manufacturing, integration and test and sustainment, and ensures alignment with key industry standards and initiatives, including AS9100, AS9145 and APQP, to ensure that customer expectations and end-user objectives are satisfied. This is an Onsite role based in Massachusetts, likely Woburn or Tewksbury. What You Will Do: Serve as a key member of the program execution team, ensuring successful program performance by ensuring conforming products and services through effective collaboration and compliance with processes and procedures. Assess technical risks of non-conformance utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills. Review change requests to assess technical impact. Support and provide oversight for failure investigations and nonconformance reviews. Plan and coordinate technical assessments and corrective actions. Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and customers to ensure alignment and ensure customer requirements are met. Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement. Initiate and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability. Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable. Qualification You Must Have: Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Operations. Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems. Demonstrated experience in providing quality technical expertise to ensure effective design/development and/or manufacturing results. Active and transferable Secret or higher U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience applying quality requirements and standards, including aerospace, commercial, defense, and/or space standards as well as internal policies, procedures and requirements. Experience with contractual quality requirements, particularly on U.S. Government contracts. Experience driving successful performance of major subcontractors, suppliers and/or IOTs. Experience with defense systems throughout the product life cycle, including design, production, installation, integration, test and sustainment. Experience identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with requirements, program functionality, and/or software releases. Experience supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCB), and nonconforming material review / Material Review Board (MRB) and/or failure review / Failure Review Board (FRB). Experience defining and analyzing Quality metrics. Experience collaborating cross-functionally. Experience assessing Engineering work products (Peer Reviews, Configuration Control Boards, Code Reviews, Product Readiness and Sale, etc.) to identify and eliminate in-phase defects. Experience participating in test preparation and execution to ensure requirements are verified. Experience with programs/contracts/efforts that have content in remote sites, particularly Site Quality experience. Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management. Experience utilizing data, quality science tools and facilitating cross-functional teams to drive root cause, corrective action, and systematic improvement activities. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
