A fantastic contract opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). Work with high school students in a supportive educational environment near Arlington Heights, IL. This position is to cover a leave of absence and will run from approximately August 10 through September 10. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and provide effective support in a short-term setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students based on identified IEP goals
- Conduct individual and group sessions as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Complete required documentation and progress notes in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
- Adapt therapy techniques to best support students’ needs within the contract period
