Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Main Operating Room with on-call and weekend/holiday coverage requirements.

Details

• Work in the Main OR department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 17:15
• On-call responsibilities include 1-2 stay-late call shifts per week from 17:15-19:15
• On-call responsibilities also include 1-3 twelve-hour call shifts per 6-week period
• Weekend and holiday coverage required on either 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification required for RNs in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, and SICU
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date

Additional Information

• Perform operating room nursing duties within a surgical team environment
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most locations, with some facilities requiring 50-75 miles depending on location
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate in select states only
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
