As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors, staff, and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of museum spaces, historic grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Support a welcoming environment for guests while assisting with the protection of exhibits, historic property, and other site assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
