Lead colleagues in executing and completing assigned tasks. Advocate for the customer, role model, and provide rapid feedback to create outstanding experiences. Ensure high-level customer service through problem-solving and customer-focused resolutions. Enhance the in-store experience by promoting the Macy's mobile app. Meet with People Leaders to plan and monitor store activities. Provide continuous feedback to People Leaders that drives positive customer experience and improves processes. Perform opening and closing procedures, including accessing the alarm system and settling registers. Lead and participate in adherence to best-in-class merchandise standards. Educate colleagues on point-of-sale technology, radio frequency equipment, and applications to assist in selling and order fulfillment. Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and creates authentic connections. Who You Are Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular attendance and punctuality. Proficient in communicating effectively with customers and providing clear direction to colleagues. Self-starter who adapts quickly to changing customer expectations and needs. Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines. 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Essential Physical Requirements Lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands. Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Reaching above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision. Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld equipment, cash registers, and processing transactions. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives and bonuses.
