Director of Operations

A rapidly growing, category-leading natural foods company is seeking a Director of Operations to lead end-to-end supply chain functions across planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for building scalable operational processes to support continued growth across retail, eCommerce, distributor, and marketplace channels. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics. Drive and improve the S&OP process, inventory planning, forecasting, and supply alignment. Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement strategy. Oversee internal production operations and external co‑manufacturing partners. Optimize ERP utilization, MRP planning, and operational processes. Lead warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, and customer delivery performance. Develop and mentor a growing operations team. Drive cost savings, service improvements, and operational scalability. Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Quality, and Marketing teams. Ideal Background 10+ years of operations or supply chain leadership experience within CPG, food, or related industries. Experience across manufacturing, procurement, planning, and logistics. Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP. Experience managing co‑packers, third‑party logistics providers, and international suppliers. Knowledge of retail and distributor supply chains, including large national accounts. Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. Experience working in high‑growth, entrepreneurial environments.
