Our commitment to compassion, clinical excellence, and community drives everything we do—and we're seeking an experienced Director Of Nursing (Don) to lead our nursing team and set the standard for quality in our facility.If you're a strong clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment and is passionate about developing teams and delivering high-quality, resident-centered care, we invite you to join our team.As Director Of Nursing, you will serve as the clinical leader of the facility—overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence in resident care.Clinical Leadership & OperationsDirect and oversee all nursing services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulationsLead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to ensure high performance and accountabilityConduct daily rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and overall clinical outcomesEnsure appropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of residentsQuality & ComplianceMaintain survey readiness and oversee plans of correctionEnsure compliance with infection control, HIPAA, and all regulatory standardsCoordinate Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiativesMonitor clinical practices to ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassionResident Care & CoordinationOversee resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation of careCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated careParticipate in admissions and evaluate prospective residents for appropriate placementProvide education and support to residents and families as neededStaff Development & EngagementOversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention of nursing staffImplement and maintain orientation and ongoing education programsConduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as neededPromote a positive work environment that supports teamwork and professional growthAdministrative & Financial OversightAssist in developing and managing the nursing department budgetReview billing processes, including Medicare-related documentationMaintain accurate clinical records and ensure proper documentation practicesUpdate and maintain nursing policies and procedures in accordance with regulationsWhat We're Looking ForGraduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider preferred)Previous Director of Nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting preferredStrong knowledge of state and federal regulationsProven leadership, organizational, and clinical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesCommitment to quality care, compliance, and team developmentIf you're ready to lead with purpose and drive excellence in nursing care, apply today and become part of the Chestnut Hill team.Chestnut Hill Healthcare is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity.
