Merchandising Sales Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) As a FAST Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, with the ability to fulfill the following requirements: Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed. Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor regarding work completion, issues, and solutions. Complete planograms and resets accurately and promptly. Perform store-specific measurements and accurate cycle counts. Complete Tractor Way top cap process and hang store signage. Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs. Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery. Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value & Appreciate. Ensure customers have a distinctive shopping experience. Provide peak coverage during high-traffic times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving). Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Experience: Prior retail or merchandising experience required; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential. Preferred knowledge, skills, or abilities Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding fields is strongly preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills. Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution abilities. Self-directed with minimal supervision. Working Conditions Mostly indoor environment with moderate noise. Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, potentially exceeding 8 hours. Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for extended periods. Maintain a safe, productive environment following safety guidelines. Work on hard surfaces with adequate lighting and temperature. Physical Requirements Travel as needed within district. Push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment; lift overhead occasionally. Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders regularly. Access all store areas safely. Operate store equipment and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds. Communicate effectively and complete training successfully. Operate store equipment, including forklifts and balers (if age-appropriate). Perform physical activities continuously throughout shifts. Disclaimer This overview is not exhaustive.
