Working in our mobile food facility within 107 at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, the day to day may include:Preparing menu items at our off-site kitchen and assisting with other culinary tasksExecuting menu items at the winery including plating of salad, entrees, appetizers and desserts and buffet items based on the design of the Chef de CuisineSetting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering vanOrganizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areasWorking efficiently in a face-paced environmentWe're currently seeking coverage for daytime shifts (Th-Su) starting between 10am and 12pm. Shifts range between 6-8 hours long, pending staffing and business levels.Requirements1+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary educationServSafe and/or California Food Handlers CertificationSafe knife skillsAbility to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communicationWork Environment & Physical RequirementsMust be available 2 days/week between Thursday - Sunday, with at least one weekend day available.Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach frequently for the duration of the shiftLift and carry up to 50 pounds frequentlyHandles sharp and hot tools regularlyFrequently utilizes cleaning chemicalsDrive to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the Winery in Los Gatos, as needed
