Substitute TeacherEssential Functions:Reports during an absence for a specified position.Follows professional practices consistent with school and system policiesCleans and patrols assigned facilities and/or grounds (ex: classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms, multipurpose rooms, grounds, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.Replenishes and maintains supplies and equipment (ex: cleaning solutions, paper products, soap, vacuums, mops, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities required to properly clean and maintain facilities.Acts in a professional manner.Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.Reports in a timely manner to the specified location.Requirements:Valid Georgia professional certification in the assigned teaching field.Additional requirements listed at Requirements:The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Job may require exposure to outside weather conditions.Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing.Education/Training:Must be at least 18 years of age; minimum of a high school diploma or GED.Clearances:Criminal Background CheckFLSA Status:Exempt or Non-Exempt (depends on type of substitute position)Salary Information:
