Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer - Oklahoma City, OK Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to join our growing multi-disciplined Planning & Landscape Architecture team in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience working on the following project types: parks, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for large scale planning projects. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. - Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and planning projects.
- Work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction
- Foster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office culture
- Production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages
- Construction methodologies and implementation
- Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously
- Anticipate the needs of clients and projects
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to lead projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
- At least 3 years of experience in Landscape Architecture
- Familiarity preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submitting
- Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs
- Proficiency with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated
- Experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus
- Excellent design skills
