Senior Scientific & Technical Content Writer

About the Role

Nayamode is seeking an experienced Scientific & Technical Content Writer to support the quantum computing division of a leading global technology company. We're looking for an exceptional writer with a strong scientific or technical background who can translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content for audiences ranging from researchers and industry professionals to business leaders and government officials. You'll collaborate with scientists, technical experts, marketing teams, and senior executives to develop thought leadership, technical publications, executive communications, and strategic messaging.

Quantum computing expertise is not required. We're looking for someone who is intellectually curious, comfortable navigating complex scientific subjects, and excited to help shape the narrative around emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Research and write technical blog posts, LinkedIn articles, sponsored content, thought leadership pieces, and executive communications.
• Technical Editing: Edit scientific papers, journal articles, white papers, and technical publications for clarity, accuracy, and readability.
• Strategic Messaging: Develop website copy, executive summaries, communication narratives, and messaging and positioning content.
• Executive & Media Support: Draft executive quotes, interview responses, analyst and media Q&As, presentations, and video messaging.
• Events & Conferences: Create conference abstracts, talk tracks, workshop materials, and trade show content.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with researchers, engineers, executives, and marketing stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy and consistent messaging.
• Content Strategy: Identify opportunities for new content, monitor industry trends, and proactively recommend creative approaches to strengthen thought leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in scientific journalism, technical writing, science communications, or technical content development .
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific or technical subjects.
• Strong portfolio of published technical, scientific, or thought leadership content.
• Experience collaborating with scientists, researchers, engineers, or technical subject matter experts.
• Ability to adapt messaging for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing about computer science, physics, chemistry, life sciences, advanced computing, or other scientific disciplines.
• Familiarity with quantum computing, cloud computing, high-performance computing, or emerging technologies.
• Experience developing executive thought leadership or strategic communications for technology organizations.
• Background editing scientific publications, research papers, or technical white papers.
• Familiarity with LaTeX, Overleaf, SEO, or web publishing.
• Experience working in an enterprise technology environment.
