This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translating engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.

• Train and supportMfgEngineers in the use of system tools to execute work orders including disposition of nonconformances, redlining work orders, revising BOM, BOM reconciliation, and GSE/Tooling maintenance and procurement.

• Provide oversight and guidance for the creation and revision of manufacturing plans to ensure the required information and structure are provided for MRP systems.

• Maintain and communicate manufacturing engineering metrics and schedules.

• Identifyand implement opportunities for process improvements to reduce build time and improve safety and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience withaircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar: (0-3 years Level IEngineer, 3+ Level IIEngineer, 5+ Level IIIEngineer, 8+ Sr LevelEngineer).

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes and procedures, including planning systems.

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T.

• Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands on experience with building flight hardware.

• Associate degreeor trade school in related discipline.

• Six Sigma Black Belt& Lean ManufacturingCertification.

• Experience with design, development or production of launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellites.

• Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (Creo or CATIA V5).

• Customer focused with a proventrack recordto work cooperatively with teams of different skills across large geographic distances.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
