Pulmonology Physician

Pulmonology physician employment in Illinois :

We are a large physician-owned group expanding in the Evanston, IL area. As part of our Respiratory Program, we are seeking a pulmonologist to join our team consulting, overseeing NPs providing consults, with profit-sharing opportunities. We offer generous compensation, flexible scheduling, and no on-call requirements.

Provide biweekly pulmonary consults to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning

Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Preferred Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Illinois license

Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology

Active DEA license

Minimum 1 year of Pulmonology experience

Experience working with respiratory patients in an acute or post-acute setting.

Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations

Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Scheduling Options:

Part-Time 10- 20 hours per week

What Medrina Offers:

1099 independent contractor

Monday-Friday, no weekends

Skilled Nursing Facility Setting

We cover tail end of malpractice

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.

Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.

Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
