CT Technologist (PRN -Days) - Christian Hospital

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN CT Technologist for Christian Hospital (11133 Dunn Rd ., St. Louis, MO) - Christian Northeast

Position Details:

• Day PRN Shift: Work as needed – Shift coverage needed will be 7am-7:30pm on Weekdays & Weekends
• Shift coverage need will vary
• -2 full shifts every 6 weeks at minimum
• Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist position
• Preferred experience 1 year CT experience, registered CT tech RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) , & Siemens experience
• Location is near: Alton, IL / Godfrey, IL/ Edwardsville, IL / Collinsville, IL / Granite City, IL/ Bridgeton, MO / Saint Ann, MO / Roxana, IL / Wood River, IL / Spanish Lake, MO / Bethalto, IL / Florissant, MO / Black Jack

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)

Cat Scan at NWHC has state of the art Siemens Somaton Sensation 16 slice scanner. This technology allows for faster scan time & less radiation dose to the patient. CT offers same day service.

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
