Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Location Janesville, WI Position Details This position involves working in the Cardiac Cath Lab, specifically focusing on Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure. The schedule includes Monday through Friday, with hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, along with one to two weeknights on call and every fourth weekend. Job Responsibilities Ensure the integrity and expiration dates of all sterile supplies. Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while utilizing sterile techniques. After procedures, prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization. Monitor and record all procedural data, maintaining event logs. Ensure patient comfort by familiarizing them with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure. Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites, including sterile draping. Utilize sterile and aseptic techniques when scrubbing into procedures to prevent infections. Advocate for radiation safety and protection for oneself and colleagues. Document fluoroscopy times and radiation doses, evaluating reports to ensure they are within established safety limits. Education & Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiology program (Education verification required). AART registered. Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License. Cardiovascular Technologist registered. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification. Shift Information The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, requiring holiday coverage and participation in weekend rotations.
