Job Description
This role focuses on the precise handling and installation of fiber cement siding for a school project and remodel. You will use your experience with siding installation and hand tools to ensure high-quality workmanship, accurate measurements, and clean finishes throughout the project.
Responsibilities

• Handle, measure, and cut fiber cement siding accurately to meet project specifications.
• Install fiber cement siding on exterior structures in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
• Work on a school project and remodel, following project plans and installation guidelines.
• Use appropriate hand tools to complete siding installation and finishing tasks.
• Inspect work for quality, alignment, and proper fastening, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle materials carefully to prevent damage.
• Follow all site safety procedures and use tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Essential Skills

• At least 3+ years of experience installing fiber cement siding.
• Proficiency in fiber cement siding installation from start to finish.
• Strong skills in general siding installation practices.
• Ability to handle, measure, and cut fiber cement siding accurately.
• Proficient use of hand tools required for siding installation.
• Ability to read and follow basic project instructions and measurements.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on school projects or remodels is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site crew.
• Strong problem-solving skills when dealing with on-site adjustments.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Work Environment

Standard construction-site attire, including appropriate work clothing and safety gear, is expected.

This is a Contract position based out of Van Wert, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
