Mechanical Engineer

Katalyst Healthcares and Life Sciences

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design modification packages for mechanical systems and/or components for nuclear power plants.

Requirements:

Must have commercial nuclear and design modification package experience.
Prefers candidates who have lead and driven the modification process.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited school.
7-10+ years relevant work experience is considered necessary.
Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plants
Knowledge and implementation of client Engineering Change Control process of nuclear power generation utilities is considered an asset.
Working knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance Standards.

Must have:

Duke Energy, Entergy.
Sargent & Lundy.
Enercon (their Nuclear Design Engineering division).
ECOM (their Nuclear Design Engineering division).
United Engineers & Constructors (their Nuclear Design Engineering division).
Zachry Engineering (their Nuclear Design Engineering division).
