Bilingual Production Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 per year DOE

 

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production schedules, managing personnel, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a manufacturing setting and is committed to safety, efficiency, and delivering a high-quality product on time.

 

The Production Manager will work closely with engineering, project management, purchasing, and installation teams to ensure products are manufactured accurately and delivered according to customer timelines.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
• Create and manage production schedules to maximize efficiency while meeting customer deadlines.
• Monitor workflow, labor utilization, equipment performance, and production output.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to engineering drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure materials are available to support production schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve product designs for manufacturability.
• Track key production metrics and prepare reports on productivity, quality, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist in hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production or manufacturing management experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production planning.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in custom manufacturing, industrial fabrication, construction products, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, CNC operations, or industrial production processes.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
